CertCop Candidate Agreement & Code of Ethics
This Candidate Agreement and Code of Ethics (“Agreement”) is a legally binding contract between you (“Candidate”) and CertCop, Inc. regarding your participation in any CertCop certification examination and your conduct as a CertCop certification holder.
By registering for, taking, or holding any CertCop certification, you agree to abide by the following terms.
1. Purpose
CertCop offers vendor-neutral technology certifications in cybersecurity, biometrics, artificial intelligence (AI), open source, and emerging technologies. This Agreement ensures integrity, fairness, and professionalism throughout the certification process.
2. Confidentiality of Exam Content
•All exam questions, answers, and content are confidential and proprietary property of CertCop.
•You may not copy, record, disclose, publish, share, or reproduce any exam materials in whole or in part.
•Use or distribution of “brain dumps” or unauthorized exam prep materials is strictly prohibited.
3. Candidate Conduct
You must:
•Take the exam individually and honestly, without unauthorized assistance.
•Not receive or provide help during the exam.
•Not use prohibited materials (notes, books, devices, AI tools, or software).
•Not falsify your identity, request someone else to test on your behalf, or misrepresent your status.
•Not tamper with or attempt to disable exam software, security, or proctoring systems.
4. Proctoring & Exam Rules
•You must follow all proctor instructions.
•The exam cannot be paused once started.
•Only emergency breaks are permitted; the exam timer will continue running.
•Unauthorized absence or prolonged breaks may result in exam termination.
•Communication with others during the exam is prohibited.
5. Copyright & Intellectual Property
•All CertCop exams, training materials, and courseware are protected intellectual property.
•Passing a CertCop exam does not grant you the right to teach or deliver CertCop courses.
•Only CertCop and its authorized training partners may deliver official training using official courseware.
•Unauthorized reproduction, teaching, or distribution of CertCop content is a violation of this Agreement and applicable laws.
6. Code of Ethics (For All Candidates & Certification Holders)
As a CertCop professional, you agree to:
1.Act with honesty, integrity, and fairness.
2.Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and data.
3.Avoid misconduct, misrepresentation, or misuse of certification for personal gain.
4.Respect intellectual property rights and use only authorized CertCop content.
5.Continue to grow professionally in cybersecurity, biometrics, AI, open source, and emerging technologies.
6.Represent yourself and CertCop in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
7. Consequences of Violations
Violation of this Agreement may result in:
•Termination of exam session.
•Invalidation of exam results.
•Revocation of certifications (even retroactively).
•Permanent ban from future CertCop programs.
•Notification of misconduct to employers, academic institutions, or legal authorities.
•Civil or criminal legal action.
8. Data Privacy
•CertCop collects and stores candidate information for certification administration, verification, and quality assurance.
•Data may be shared with authorized training partners, employers, or regulators as necessary.
•By accepting this Agreement, you consent to CertCop’s data collection and usage policies.
9. Amendments
CertCop reserves the right to update this Agreement, Code of Ethics, and related policies at any time. Continued participation or certification constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
Exam-Day Candidate Disclaimer
Before starting your CertCop certification exam, you must acknowledge:
1.Confidentiality – Exam content is confidential and must not be shared.
2.No Cheating – Unauthorized assistance, notes, devices, or AI tools are prohibited.
3.Proctoring Rules – Follow all proctor instructions. The exam cannot be paused; only emergency breaks are allowed, and the clock will not stop.
4.Intellectual Property – Passing the exam does not allow you to teach CertCop courses. Only CertCop and its authorized partners may deliver training with official courseware.
5.Code of Ethics – You agree to act with honesty, professionalism, and integrity.
6.Consequences – Any violation may result in termination, invalidation of results, revocation of certifications, permanent bans, or legal action.
